Syrian Emergency Response
HACS supports charities deliver aid to Syrians in Lebanon, Turkey, and Jordan
The Syrian Crisis
The Syrian conflict has wreaked havoc, with over 500,000 lives lost and more than 13 million displaced—over half of Syria’s pre-war population. Of these, 6.9 million are trapped as internally displaced persons (IDPs), while 6.8 million have sought refuge in neighbouring countries like Lebanon, Jordan, and Turkey.
Beyond the violence, Syria’s economy is in ruins, exacerbated by economic sanctions, a severe drought, the 2023 Turkey-Syria Earthquake, and Lebanon’s financial crisis.
This dire humanitarian situation has overwhelmed local governments and international organisations, leaving many refugees and IDPs with scarce access to shelter, food, healthcare, education, and clean water.

How HACS Helps NGOs Deliver Aid to Syrians
At HACS, we work directly with international NGOs to facilitate their projects in supporting refugees and IDPs by ensuring aid reaches those who need it most.
We focus on efficient service delivery, transparency, and providing essential items that make a tangible difference in people’s lives.
What HACS Delivers
We work with our partners to deliver a range of critical aid to Syrian refugees and IDPs. Over the years, we’ve supported the distribution of:
Food and Nutrition
Essential food packs and ready-to-eat hot meals.
Livelihood Support
Tools that empower women to generate income and support their families.
Shelter and Housing
Temporary and permanent housing solutions with essential amenities.
Health and Medical Aid
Healthcare Facilities, Medicines, Hygiene Packs, and Medical Equipment.
Clothing and Warmth
Clothing, blankets, fuel, and heaters to protect Syrian families from the harsh weather conditions.
Our Approach to Aid Delivery
We help NGOs streamline their efforts to get aid to Syrians in need. Here’s how we do it:
Needs Assessment
We conduct on-the-ground needs assessments to identify the most pressing needs of displaced families.
Procurement and Sourcing
We source and purchase necessary items such as food, clothing, shelter materials, and hygiene products.
Logistics & Transportation
Our logistics team ensures supplies are safely delivered to hard-to-reach areas within Syria and neighboring countries.
Monitoring and Evaluation
Throughout the process, we monitor each stage to ensure transparency and effectiveness. We also provide detailed reports and documentation to the NGOs we partner with, ensuring full accountability.
These services are more than just aid; they help restore dignity and hope to those living in highly challenging conditions.
Each of these projects addresses an immediate need while also contributing to long-term solutions, like housing, which helps families regain stability and security.
